Micro Fiction: A story in 99 words
Festive Travel
I’ve packed, unpacked, and repacked my bag several times. Tomorrow, I will kiss Ruby goodbye, wish her a happy Christmas and be happy that she is in safe hands while we are away.
I will check that my passport, boarding passes, phone, and wallet are all where I left them and easy to access when I need them.
I will hope that the bus is on time, the flight won’t be delayed, and that we will make our connection. I will cross my fingers and, all being well, arrive safely and let the festive celebrations with our families begin :)
