Micro Fiction: A story in 99 words
Too Good To Be True
Every day I am swamped with offers. Promises of life changing fortunes, a new career, a new body or even new man. Today, I have been informed that a long lost relative has passed away and I am the sole beneficiary to their multi-million dollar estate. But strangely, they don’t seem to know my name. I have also won a lottery, lucky me.
All I have to do is provide my name, address, phone number and bank details and these faceless people running non-existent businesses will take care of everything for me.
If only one of them were true…
